I sent a picture in December of Zoey in Canada and you posted it for us.
Sadly we put her down Monday. She was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma
In August and given a 3 month prognosis. We went to Vancouver Canada in November and thought we would not be able to bring her home. But February 27,2021 she came home with us.
She lived 3 more months - 6 months longer than prognosis. The tumor doubled in size her final 3 months and she was having difficulty breathing. She actually looked pregnant when she laid on her side. But she never gave up her walks, even on her final morning we went on a short walk because she wanted to.
She was such a good girl for 9 years- NEVER had an accident in the house. She had the loudest beagle howl, all the neighbors knew when we arrived home. Her tail was so happy, it would go in circles. I’ve never seen a dog do that so much.
Karen was a fabulous foster mom to treat Zoey’s heartworm- thank you so much.
Thank Rose for us, Zoey truly was our best dog ever. Kathy and Paul
