Raise Funds for Rose's Rescue - it may be easier than you think!

Rose’s Rescue relies heavily on donations from all kinds of sources to continue the work that we do.  Vet bills, as well as the simple care and feeding of the dogs and cats in our care, are costly and we are always in need of funds.

If you have an idea of your own to raise money for our organization and would be willing to take charge of it, we would love to hear about it and could help with all the support you need to make it a success.

Here are some other suggestions about how you can help raise money for our homeless pets...

party dogHave a Party for us!  Are you hosting a party or occasion when the honoree may not want or need more "stuff"?  We have had several thoughtful friends who invited their guests to bring monetary donations or doggy items in lieu of gifts for such events.  Rose's Rescue has been the beneficiary of birthday parties (for kids and adults!), anniversaries, showers, and even a bat mitzvah!  Where kids are involved, it's a great opportunity for them to learn about pet responsibility in a fun and meaningful way.  Also, many home party businesses (Pampered Chef, Tastefully Simple, Candle or Jewelry companies, etc) lets you have a party to benefit a charity of your choosing instead of earning discounts on merchandise.  And don't forget to let us know ahead of time in case any of our volunteers want to participate by buying something themselves!

Grant-writing is something that can bring in some welcome funds for our pets in need, but we never seem to have enough time or help to search them out and do the paperwork.  If you have experience in such things we would love to have you help us out!

Are you well-connected to some movers and shakers in the local business community?  Securing donations from corporate sponsors is another area where help is always needed and greatly appreciated!  Many businesses have charitable donations written into their annual budgets.  We just need people to ask that Rose's Rescue be on their list of recipients for some of those funds.

Maintain a Donation Jar:  Do you know of any businesses that would be willing to have a donation jar on their counter where patrons can contribute to our cause?

piggy bankThe merchant does not have to be in a pet-related field (though those are always great, of course!).  Pizza shops, hair salons, auto mechanics, coffee shops - any place that has a counter or a cash register - are all places where we would be glad to have a donation jar.  You can make your own or we can provide one.  You just secure the location(s) and check it periodically so you can collect the proceeds and send them to the rescue.

If you would like to help out with any of the above fundraising opportunities, just contact us and someone will get in touch with you shortly.

Don't forget that Rose's Rescue is also grateful to receive In Memoriam giftto pay tribute to a lost pet or human loved one.  You can also make a Gift donation to honor someone's birthday or other special occasion.  In either case, Rose's Rescue will send out a card to tell your friend or family member of your thoughtful gesture.  Use the links on Main Menu at the left if you would like to make a contribution in one of these two ways.

Even a seemingly small contribution can make a difference and we are always grateful to donations of any size.  If you would care to make a personal gift to the rescue in any amount, checks to Rose's Rescue can be mailed to PO Box 33, Rootstown, OH 44272, or use the PayPal link below the main menu.
