Blimpie’s rescue story is as special as she is! This little lady was discovered in the parking lot of the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank by a group of volunteers from Goodyear. In true Blimpie fashion, she didn’t hide or run but instead marched right up to her rescuers, charming them instantly. Fittingly, she was named “Blimpie” in honor of the Goodyear blimp and the kindhearted people who helped her find safety.

At about 5 months old, Blimpie is already a confident, outgoing kitten with a personality that fills the room. She’s never met a stranger. Whether it’s people, kids, or other cats, she greets everyone with her signature tiny, squeaky meow. If you’re looking for a chatty companion, she’ll be right there to keep you company while you watch TV, work from home, or birdwatch out the window.

Blimpie loves affection, playtime, and simply being part of whatever you’re doing. She hasn’t met dogs yet, but given her brave, easygoing nature, she’ll likely adjust well with proper introductions. If you’re searching for a friendly, loving, and endlessly entertaining sidekick, Blimpie is ready to float right into your heart and home!

Blimpie's adoption fee of $100 includes  negative test for Feline Leukemia (FELV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), spay surgery, feline leukemia, FVRCP, and Rabies vaccines, de-worming, topical flea protection, and a microchip. She is being fostered in Akron, OH.
