Lynnie
From Lynnies (now Gretel) new mom: last night's dinner watching crew. Thursday night Gretel made it abundantly clear she no longer needed to sleep in the crate overnight. She's developed such a personality in the last few days. She's tearing up the stairs, she's zooming around the backyard (but not first thing at 5:30 am - still a little too dark and scary but Philip is there to protect). She's barking with the group. She's found her pack.
(Philip is one of her poodle brothers)
Lottie
Little Lottie (formerly Latte, formerly Dairy Queen, a graduate of at least two previous rescue) came into my life on January 8, 2025. I officially declared myself a foster failure this week. I give up! She captured my house and my heart, probably from day one ⦠I just wouldnât admit it. Thank you Rose's Rescue for putting us together, for providing veterinary care to get her strong and for being there for me.
Lilly
Lilly, now Lucy, is adjusting very well with us and her surroundings.ÃÂÃÂ Our other dog seem to be happier with her, though she's too old to play.ÃÂÃÂ It's been a great experience for all of us.
Luis
Things are going well with Louie or âlittle Louieâ as we like to call him! : )  He is getting along well with my other dog George, and likes to stay near him. He is such a sweet cuddler, and will be in my lap the second I sit down.   He has lots of energy and we help him burn it off with lots of walking and playing. He loves going for car rides and  he LOVES being in the park for walks.  The excitement of seeing the chipmunks and squirrels is almost too much for him to handle!  Heâs doing well with house training.  The change of weather makes him not want to go out as easily but Iâve experienced this before with little ones. We bought him a little coat that is helping.  All in all, he is just a doll and if fitting right in with his new family!  Â
Also, kind of funny, I did a DNA test on him, and the biggest amount of breed he has in him, 30% is Yorkie! What?? The next was 20% Min Pin which I can see in him for sure. But only 12% chihuahua. Go figure!
