Meet Almond! Almond was found with her mother and siblings. The whole group had been locked in a dog crate and abandoned on a side road in the summer heat. A kind neighbor found the cats and made sure they were safely placed with us. 

Almond is a curious and goofy kitten who is quick to make new friends. She will rub on anyone she meets to request pets! Almond  is an affectionate lap cat who is very happy to be indoors getting spoiled at her foster home. Almond does well with kids and other cats. She has not met dogs yet but should adjust easily with appropriate introductions. Almond is being fostered in Akron, OH. She is about 5 months old.

Almond's adoption fee of $100  includes:  negative test for Feline Leukemia (FELV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), spay surgery, feline leukemia, FVRCP, and Rabies vaccines,   de-worming, topical flea protection, and a microchip. Almond will not be ready to go home with her new family until Thursday, 8/28 or the following weekend, but we would love to have a home waiting for her and are scheduling adoption meetings now. To hold Almond until her adoption date, we will collect a $50 deposit (deducted from her adoption fee) and sign the adoption contract.
