Meet Cashew! Cashew was found with her mother and siblings. The whole group had been locked in a dog crate and abandoned on a side road in the summer heat. A kind neighbor found the cats and made sure they were safely placed with us. 

Cashew  is a sweet and affectionate little lady who is very happy to be indoors getting spoiled at her foster home. She is curious and quick to greet new people. She loves attention and purrs like crazy when she is held or getting scratches and pets. Cashew does well with kids and other cats. She has not met dogs yet but should adjust easily with appropriate introductions. Cashew is being fostered in Akron, OH. She is about 5 months old.

Cashew's adoption fee of $100  includes:  negative test for Feline Leukemia (FELV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), spay surgery, feline leukemia, FVRCP, and Rabies vaccines,   de-worming, topical flea protection, and a microchip. Cashew will not be ready to go home with her new family until Thursday, 8/28 or the following weekend, but we would love to have a home waiting for her and are scheduling adoption meetings now. To hold Cashew until her adoption date, we will collect a $50 deposit (deducted from her adoption fee) and sign the adoption contract.
