Hi! I'm Gwen. My life started out a little scary—I was found all alone in a park, a tiny orphan trying to be brave. I would puff myself up and hiss to keep the world away. Thankfully, Rose's Rescue volunteers scooped me up and brought me to safety, and now I’m discovering what it means to feel safe and loved.

At first, I gave my foster mom my very best hisses and puff-ups, but the yummy pate she fed me three times a day quickly won started to relax. Now, I purr when she pets me, knead muffins on her arm, and even enjoy snuggling. It's pretty cool. My foster mom especially loves rubbing my little ear tufts, and I think I like it too!

I’m still a bit more reserved than some kittens, but every day I grow braver. I’ve discovered toys, playtime, and other foster kittens to romp around with. Hearing their happy purrs has encouraged me to join in, and I’m slowly learning how fun it is to trust and play.  I even had my very first “spa day,” a nail trim and brushing! Foster mom calls it a “mani-pedi and fur-do,” and to her surprise, I did great and enjoyed the extra pampering.

What I’m really looking for now is a loving forever family who will give me the time and patience I need to continue blossoming. If you have a room in your heart (and lap!) for a sweet, reserved girl like me, I promise I’ll reward you with purrs, biscuits, and endless gratitude.
