Meet Smokey! Smokey came to us after spending some time outside as a stray. She had babies that were unfortunately killed by a predator. She and the babies were found and Smokey was brought to us for help.
Smokey is described by her foster family as the sweetest girl. They said: "Smokey girl is always so happy when I come in the room - her little paws start kneading as she walks up to me. She does the cutest little kneading paw outreach to make sure I see her and pet her. Smokey has a faint little meow you can barely even hear. Even though Smokey is full grown at about 2 years old, she has the spirit of a kitten. Having been found as a stray, Smokey has learned what it is like to play and interact with and trust people. She sometimes shies away from loud or aggressive play but has come so far! Smokey is very smart and definitely reads people and watches your every move. She loves to sit in the window or lay right beside it. Smokey bonded quickly with our other foster kitten and loves having kitty company."
Smokey is a mellow and loving girl who will make a wonderful companion for her lucky adopters. She loves other cats and has taken the other kitten in her foster home under her wing, often cuddling and grooming her. She does well with children and should adjust well to calm dogs with proper introductions.
Smokey's adoption fee of $50 includes negative test for Feline Leukemia (FELV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), spay surgery, feline leukemia, FVRCP, and Rabies vaccines, de-worming, topical flea protection, and a microchip.
