Hi! I'm called Boots. I’ve been with my foster mom for just a few weeks. At first I wasn't sure about this whole thing, but every day I’m learning how nice it is to live inside and be safe and spoiled. Foster mom fed me lots of yummy treats and reassured me that everything would be okay until I really started to believe her. I kept a close eye on her (and those Churu treats), and slowly but surely, started to trust her.
I’m still a pretty reserved girl, but my foster mom says I'm sweet and patient. I even let her pet me, and when she gazes into my big green eyes, she tells me how special I am. Recently, I surprised us both by purring. Once I started, I couldn’t stop! I’m curious about the world around me, too. I’ve been exploring toys one by one, and I especially love the tall cat tree where I can scratch, climb, and lounge while I wait for snacks. The chirping bird toy is another favorite. It keeps me entertained as I practice my pounces.
I may take time to warm up, but if you have patience, a cozy home, and maybe a cat tree, I’ll give you my trust, company, and the quiet joy of watching me open up.
