Meet Garby! Garby came to the rescue at a very young 2 weeks old. His mother was in a really bad state but luckily we were able to save her and all of his 6 siblings. Garby is the last left of his litter, everyone has skipped over him :( 

Garby is quite a unique boy. So laid back and eager to please. He just wants to follow you around and play. He’s a young 4.5 months old and every bit of it shows! Although Garby is a BIG boy, so he looks a little older than his age. He weighed 1.5 pounds heavier than all of his siblings at the time they left. To tell you a little about Garby’s lifestyle, he loves to chase toys around but most of all he LOVES to play with other cats. He’s very much a cats cat. If you have a cat, he’s the perfect companion you’re looking for if your other cat is receptive to it. We’d actually really recommend he goes to a home with other animals. If you don’t have other animals you’ll just have to substitute that time with a little extra attention (; in terms of attention Garby likes a lot of rubs and scratches. He appreciates gentle pets and a very easy going person, like himself. He can get overwhelmed if things are too loud or chaotic. Garby also isn’t a cat that loves to be picked up or held. He tolerates it very well and let’s it happen for a good length of time if you’re lifting and holding him respectfully, but we don’t think he’d be too keen on kids tossing him around. He’d really appreciate older, more respectful kids that understand animals boundaries and space. 

Garby’s favorite time of day is dinner time where he gets his wet food. He goes crazy for it. He also loves his temptations treats and churus. He’s mildly good motivated, but more play motivated. Sometimes Garby will just sit there and stare at you as if to say something. Every time he does this his foster mom swings her hands in front of him and he goes crazy playing with her hands. He’s so gentle, loving, sweet, and playful. We want to see him go to a home where he’ll be appreciated for that and his personality will be embraced.
