Lemonade Day is a community-based educational program that teaches students entrepreneurial skills necessary to start, own and operate their own business...a lemonade stand!!
Please come out and support 4th grade students from Mrs Betley's class at Defer Intermediate School on Saturday, May 7th from 9am to 1pm at First Merit Bank (next to Sheetz, across from Walmart)
The boys are very excited to start their own business, "Paradise Lemonade", and serve you a cold glass on May 7th. Please swing by to support them. Cookies and tattoos plus entertainment will be also be available!
In addition, as part of this project, a portion of their profits will be donated to a charity of their choice. They decided they wanted to help animals and picked Roses Rescue.
Rose's Rescue will also be setting up along with the boys at their Lemonade Stand.

Donations are welcomed to help the animals in need. DJ Toyota will match any amount raised and donate directly back to Rose's Rescue.

Come on out and meet your new Furever Friend! We will be setting up outside near Popped located at 175 E. Erie Street, Suite 201 in Acorn Alley the 2nd Friday of each month.

Rose's Rescue Annual Reunion

It's Reunion time again. Every year Rose's Rescue holds a reunion for the dogs adopted through the rescue. The event is also open to the public, so bring your friends and family.
Redwood Swim Club is a completely fenced in facility. The dogs will be off leash like at a dog park. SWIMMING FOR THE DOGS ONLY. $5.00 donation per dog. People are free. Redwood will have their concession stand open. We will be selling T Shirts and some vendors available, but mostly this is a fun time for the dogs and meeting new and old friends.

Delta Gamma, a sorority at Kent State University, invites you to Dogs with DG’s.
Price: $5 if you bring a dog shelter donation its $4. Dog Shelter Donations benefit Rose's Rescue.
Price includes hotdogs, drink , and dessert!
All dogs MUST be on a leash at all times and they must be cleaned up after if they relive themselves.
All Proceeds go towards Service for Sight, Delta Gamma’s foundation for the visually impaired!
Rose's Rescue will have an information table and some of our adoptable dogs.

An Evening with Rose's Rescue.
The Reed Memorial Library in Ravenna has invited us to do a presentation. It will be in the Jenkins / Haymaker rooms on Wednesday, October 19th at 7 pm.
A representative from Rose's Rescue, along with a dog or two will be discussing animal rescue and proper dog care. This program is for all ages and no registration is required.
