Tasha

We are so grateful to have Tasha in our lives. What a blessing she is! You will see that she has put on a little weight, must be something she eats maybe? A friend asked what does she get a treat for, and Phil said "for breathing of course". Everyone who meets her can't believe what a great dog she is. They keep asking me how did you train her to be like that. I have to admit that it had nothing to do with us. That's just who she is. She very seldom barks, only when necessary. She has become my best buddy! She is quite the hunter though. She has been skunked four times since she has been with us. she has taken on groundhogs, raccoons, deer, anything that invades her territory and she has the scars to prove it, but, she has always come up the winner. I worry about it, but the Vet says that's who she is and you can't change her. So, I very seldom let her go out at night any more unless I am with her. She doesn't seem to mind as she is getting older and slower just like me. We just kind of limp around together. The Vet says it's her hip and that's pretty common with dogs her size. Thanks for letting us adopt her.

Tori

Dear Rose, I adopted " Tori." but she became Maggie, short for Magnolia. She had been found wandering down a highway when your rescue got her. Whoever left her there...it was their loss and my gain. That was in May of 2005. I told her then that if our health made it, she'd be with me in retirement in Florida for hopefully a couple years. She is now almost 13, and Sept. 17th, was 2 years since the move! We made it! On a sadder note, she was diagnosed in July with liver cancer and given a week to live. However, here we are in almost October and she has far more good days the bad! I want you to know that she has been the best dog I ever had and our family has always had dogs. She is loyal and loves the family. She is good with my grandchildren and everyone in my family just loves her. My life has been richer because of her. Thank you, again. Here is her picture at adoption and now a more current one. Barbara

Roxy

Roxy is an AMAZING DOG. we feel as if we have had her forever. She is full of love and has adapted so beautifully. We can't thank Rose's Rescue enough!

Callie

Callie is doing beautifully! Along with my other Roses rescue Joey.

Dylan

Just wanted to share a pic of our precious Dylan Thomas. We rescued him, or he rescued us, I THINK in 2013. He’s the best walking buddy I could ask for, and he’s my husband’s constant sidekick. He’s “striking a pose” on our vacation to Northern Michigan in August. Thank you so much for allowing us to make him part of our family – we sure can’t imagine life without him. Kathy and Skip
