Mugsy
Mugsy Dean has fit in seamlessly with my dog, Frank, and me! He is so sweet and so excited and SO SNUGGLY! Frank needed a friend to play with and love on and Mugs is perfect. They are either running and playing or snuggling together. Frank has a lot of anxiety and Mugs has helped ease that tremendously... heâs even dropped a few lbs with all that play!!! He is such a smart boy, weâve already mastered potty training, crate training (I say âMugs, get in your nestâ and he walks right in!) he can sit and stay and âdownâ. I will be registering him as an emotional support dog as soon as he gets the All Clear from the vet in a few months. He hasnât let heartworm slow him down or break his spirit! Heâs such an affectionate, loving, sweet pup and I canât remember what life was like before him!
Lottie - Couch Potato
Just wanted to give you a 6 month update on Lottie. I picked her up 6 months ago yesterday. She continues to do so well. She has become such a special little person in our family and my husband and I both love her so much. She gets lots of hugs and kisses and love every day. Everyone who comes to visit thinks she is as sweet as can be.
My husband is up for re-election here in Boardman, and we have even posted a couple of pictures of Lottie and my husband on his campaign website. She has gotten quite a bit of attention and been an asset to his campaign. Whenever anyone asks about where we got her, I tell them about "Rose's Rescue".
Hope your wonderful work continues and all is well with you. What a difference you and your organization are making.
Thanks again for letting us have her. She really seems so happy here and contented.
Chester
Hi. He is doing great. Was outside without a leash today still smelling and looking for cat dodo.
He is eating very well. I had him speaking for treats today. It was funny. First he gave me his paw, and then circled around, and finally learned to speak. Of course every time I said speak, Sadie barked, so she was a good teacher. I started to mix his food with Sadie's so he will not have a big adjustment when his is gone.
I love his bark, this is welcomed, he and her have had a contest. lol
Also there is a race out the door, side by side, who can get out first.
I left them alone tonight. When I got home, he was howling and barking, she
started to bark, which she has never done before. I loved it,
He reminds me so much of my Buddy..
Thanks for making my home complete. Judyl
Sara Sue
Sara Sue now Zoe; She is a sweetheart, her personality is coming along nicely, she is still very skittish about so many things it makes me sad.... but she is such a happy little girl normally....as long as there are no loud noises, no one moves too fast or growls, lol. She loves her siblings but her favorite is my other toy poodle, Abby, who Zoe treats as an older sister. Ironically, she was also a mill puppy and out of that environment by the time she was a yr old yet still displays some of the same traits as Zoe... and I've had her since 2012.
Zoe is the most playful of them all. So loving, she nudges me with her cold nose if not getting the attention she feels she deserves because you know they never think they get enough. She is beside me as I write, I am always surrounded by dogs and I'd have it no other way!
