Hello, I am Monte. I am 3 years old and love to sleep under blankets and carry my toys around the house. I am looking for a home where I can be the only pet. As soon as you are sitting I will lay with my head on your foot.

I like to talk and I will make noises when I have to go outside. I like to crawl up on your lap and be close and will trust you to pick me up. I love to have my head and back scratched. I can sit before I get my meals, my sits are incredibly short and I am learning to sit longer. 

My foster mom lets me walk on my leash like a big dog. I prefer my independence and I like to be held especially after dinner when I am tired. I am learning not worry about all the things that go on in the world.  I need a family that understands me so I can relax and be a dog.
