About *Marley - great family dog
Hi, My name is Marley and I am a 6 year old black lab girl, mixed with a little bit of pitbull. I weigh in at apx 45-50 pounds. I was living on the streets when another rescue saved me.I then moved to Roses and was totally vetted. I am good with adults, kids, and most dogs. It would be best though, if I am the only dog in the home. I can be reactive to some dogs. The days on the street were rough and I became tough with other animals. Therefore, I am not a dog for dog parks. A fenced yard to play in is great. When leash walked I can act aggressive, so I need a strong alpha leader. The only thing that matters to me is people and children. One of my favorite things is to give lots of kisses. I am very loving of my people and would be great for a home that doesn't need to take me out and about.I am house and crate trained. I am used to being crated for 8 hours work days. I know my basic commands and I LOVE children. I would love to play with them. I was adopted 3 years ago, but due to family circumstances I had to come back to the rescue. I am an exceptionally nice dog. I had been living with 11 and 13 year old children. I have also been around small children and would be good with grandchildren too. I was adopted recently, but they had to return me due to the daughter moving home that has allergies. Am I ever going to find someone to love me forever? My eyes have a sad look to them now,not having my own special family and children. Lots of playtime with the kids in the yard, keeps me happy. I will make a great family dog. If you are looking for a new fur friend to join your family please consider me. You won't be sorry. Love, Marley
