Update 7/12: Lurchy is much more interactive with people now, he is our gentle giant at the pound. He is a calm, laid back kind of guy, and is quite happy to sit by your side, and enjoy your company. Lurchy is a sweetheart, he really is, but please, stop in and meet him for yourself, see what we love about this dog! Picked up as a stray on 6/30. Available on 7/5 Lurchy is on the shy side, takes him a few minutes to warm up to people. But he is friendly, and he so wants to be friends with everyone, seems to be a gentle giant. Lurchy is rather large, and you will see that when you meet him in person. He is so handsome, looks to have been cared for, but no one has come for him. Please take time to meet Lurchy, stop by today, give this dog a new home, he is so unhappy at the pound. $86.00 fee includes OH license, DA2PP, Bordetella vaccine, Hw testing, Worming and spay/neuter. Flea treatment will be provided if fleas are noticed. All dogs will be spayed/neutered before leaving the pound unless other arrangements are made to have your dog fixed elsewhere and approved by the warden. Microchipping is available for an additional $ 20.00 and an e-collar may be purchased for $ 10.00. Because most of our dogs were picked up as strays, we have no knowledge of any behavior or health issues. Stray dogs are held for 72 hours before being placed for adoption.
