Tia is not a Rose's Rescue dog but we are happy to post her here to help her caretaker find her a forever home.  We will not be handling her inquiries as she would be a private adoption.  For more information on about Tia or to adopt her, please refer to the contact information at the end of her description.

Tia was rescued from the pound, very sick with kennel cough and not doing well in the pound environment (like many of the dogs that end up in shelters). She is now healthy, gaining weight (current weight 40#), and adjusting to living in a home environment. 

She is estimated to be between 1-2 years old, housebroken, crate trained, up to date on shots, micro-chipped, on heartworm preventative and spayed. She gets along great with other dogs and really enjoys running and playing with them.  She also loves to play fetch and would do great at agility.  She has a lot of puppy energy still and needs a good amount of exercise each day. She knows basic commands but will need work on leash behaviors and I would highly recommend an obedience class to help reinforce the behaviors she is now learning.  

Tia is quite the entertainer with her goofy antics.  She loves to cuddle and wants to stay very close to her people as she loves to get your affection.  She attends doggie day care one day per week, to help her with her socialization skills and burn off some of that puppy energy.  She really enjoys the play and the staff says she is great to have there.  Tia would do best in a home with an active family and a fenced in yard.  For more information about Tia or to request an application, e-mail Barb at Pisan1@ameritech.net.
