Tiberius is not with Rose's Rescue.  We did not have any spare foster home to get him out or we would have pulled him without question.  So, instead we are posting him with our own dogs in the hopes that he will be seen and adopted soon.  You cannot adopt Tiberius through Rose's Rescue, but he can be adopted from the Stark County Pound in Canton.  He has been sponsored, so his adoption fees are even lower than usual.  More information can be found at http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/24516455

Tiberius is going to make someone a great pet.  He is a young chocolate Lab, probably about six months young.  He already knows how to sit, and considering his age, was pretty calm and attentive.  He is ripe for training!  The pound volunteers say that people have looked at him, but since he's had kennel cough (often the case with pound/shelter dogs due to the closed-in environment), nobody was willing to take him home.  Kennel cough is not usually serious and will run its course in about two weeks.  Antibiotics are often given to prevent things from going into more serious respiratory issues, just like when humans get a bad cough sometimes.  If you like Labs, and are looking for a young one that is just the perfect age for training, go down and get this boy out of the Stark County Pound!
