An adoption is now pending for Sporty, thank you!

Sporty is a Shih Tzu mix puppy that will be available for adoption in early to mid June.  His mama is a Shih Tzu but we have no idea what breed his daddy was.  He will likely be small, but we don't know if he will have a long coat or not, nor do we know for sure how big he will get.  We are expecting a LOT of interest in these puppies, so if you fill out an application, please be patient as our volunteers will get through them as soon as humanly possible, but it will likely be a longer processing time than usual.

Also, please remember that puppies this young will need you now more than ever because this is the age when they begin to understand structure and routine.  Besides the fact that their bodies are not developed enough to “hold it” when they are this young, leaving them crated or unattended for hours on end will not offer them the love, attention, socialization, exercise, or training that they will need to become the adult dogs you want them to be for their lifetime - and your lifetime too.
