Meet Lucy, our little Chihuaha x Pug x Beagle (we think) mix!  This is another one of those heartbreakers with a sad history, but hopefully rescue intervention will change all that for her.  Lucy was left abandoned in the garage of her home when her family moved and then was going to be dumped in a park(!)   But luckily, one of our awesome volunteers got wind of her story and intervened.  She approached the owner just at the right time and convinced her to surrender Lucy to our rescue.  

Lucy has spent most of her young life in her crate, and is now enjoying all the love and attention her foster home has to offer.  She is just a little gal - about 10-12 lbs, and is doing beautifully with every new friend she meets - adults, kids of all ages, as well as the other dogs and cats in the household. Her foster mom says that Lucy does not appear to have an aggressive bone in her little body.  

Lucy is spayed and up to date on everything she needs from the vet, so is all ready to go to a forever family.

Lucy is a very lucky dog, as our volunteer was able to come to her aid just in the nick of time.  We are excited to keep that lucky streak going for her and help to to fine her a wonderful home where she will only know kindess and love the rest of her days.  If you think that might be with you, please fill out our online applicaition using the link below.
