UPDATE: Kona has recently graduated from the cell dog program.  During this program he was trained by selected inmates who were overseen by a professional dog trainer. He attended classes to learn more about house training, basic obedience and some fun tricks too! Kona has now completed his training and is ready for his new home. Could that be you?

HI! My name is Kona and I am a 2 - 3 year old black lab hound mix. I am neutered and up to date on my shots. I was adopted through Roses Rescue about a year ago and although they loved me I had my moments of not being good with small children, so I was returned. It is felt that I should go to an adult home or one with older children only. I am a young good size boy so I will need daily exercise too.
