Lucy needs to find a home very soon! Can you help?
Lucy is a sweet, loving 52 pound 2-3 year old pit bull mix. She was found on campus in Columbus, Ohio with no collar or tag, filthy, full of fleas, and hungry. Lucy was discovered to have a chip, but it turns out
she has been bounced around to at least 3 homes. You would think that would make her sad or non-trusting… well she is a forgiver. She loves every person she meets and for sure wants you to
play fetch with her until one of you drops. Lucy is super smart, she knows “sit”, “down”, and “stay”, and is beginning to master “drop it”when playing fetch. She is also completely potty and crate trained.
She is packed FULL of energy and it is essential that she gets lots of exercise. She likes all
kind of toys, especially squeaky ones. Lucy’s foster home has 4 males dogs and while she plays
well with all of them but occasionally has disagreements with the alpha male because Lucy like
any woman refuses to be the submissive! She can't be placed in a home with cats. She loves to cuddle with you once she has been worn out. She pulls on the leash some but is learning“loose leash” and is so smart she will have that down pat soon.
All Lucy seems to want is someone to play with and love and inreturn you get unconditional love, constant companionship, laughter, abuilt in exercise partner, and someone who will look at you with
complete trust and adoration….that seems like a pretty awesome deal!
Lucy is not a Roses rescue dog but we are posting her for her foster Mom to try and find her a new forever home as soon as possible. To adopt or find out more about Lucy please contact her foster Mom Amber at 614-937-3889 and her husband at 614-937-8467.
Lucy is up to date on her vaccines and will be spayed on 7/7/11.
