 Thank you for agreeing to post Maggie on Rose's Rescue.  Maggie is a yellow lab mix approximately 1 year old.  We took her in 6 months ago when she was found near starving by a friend.  She had been abandoned some time before and her collar was digging into her neck in spite of being severely underweight. We decided quickly to take her in. The vet told us she was approximately 4 months old at that time. She has grown to be a strong and healthy dog.

Maggie is a spirited 45 pound dog.  She has been spayed since 8 months of age.  She loves to play fetch, and run around our small yard.  She is able to follow several commands including sit, lay down, this way, settle, and come. She is shy with visitors but eventually will join the group by sitting amongst us and accepting a pet under the chin.  She is not as relaxed with k9 friends as she tends to run around anxiously while they are present and wrestles constantly with our other dog until we finally separate them. Maggie is a great dog, we just can't give her the space and time she needs to be at her best. I dearly love her, and would like her to go to a home where she can be healthy and happy.
