UPDATE: Miss Lucy has recently joined the cell dog program.  During this program she will be trained by selected inmates who will be overseen by a professional dog trainer. She will attend classes to learn more about house training, basic obedience and some fun tricks too! Miss Lucycan be visited and even adopted while she is in the Cell Dog program.

Hello I am Miss Lucy. I am a happy loving girl that was returned to the rescue. I love other dogs, love car rides, and love people. That is why I hate it when being left home alone.I would probably do best in a home where I am not alone for more than 4-5 hours. Cats are  a sport to me and I know I couldn't have one in my space. I had surgery on my left hip, but you wouldn't know it.The Vet says it should not cause any future problems. I fly like the wind and I am energetic.I love children, but 8 and up would be best.

Everything I do, I do 110%. I still have a lot of puppy in me and can be high
energy even at 2 years old.However, I calm right down in the house and will lay at your feet.The number one thing in my life is my person and I am very loyal to them. I am completely housebroken, walk pretty well on a leash and love going for walks, running and swimming.I weigh approximately 50-55 lbs. and am just waiting for you to come out and meet me.
