Hi, my name is Minnie. I was adopted last year by a senior citizen who loved me and spoiled me rotten, but she had to move to a new place where she could get the care she needed, and now I need a new home. My foster mom says I am a very good girl. I get along really well with my doggie siblings here. I love to play with them and also LOVE to snuggle! My other mom was better at giving me treats than she was at giving me exercise, (right now I weigh about 17 lbs and ideally I should be about 12 lbs), so I am going to let the nice rescue people help me to trim down a bit. But if you want to take me home now, we can work on that together too! So if you want a sweet snuggle-bun who's also very well-behaved, I can be your girl! Minnie loves to please. She's such a happy dog. She loves men,
women & children. She had lost a tremendous amount of weight &
is very active now. She can keep up with running and loves leash walks
down the road. She loves to sleep on the bed & look out the window.
She will let you know if anyone pulls in the driveway. No obsessive
barking though. She will steal your pillow to sleep on as soon as you
move away from it. She's got the attitude of a big dog when other dogs
come in the yard then she warms up to them. She will not leave your
side when you are home. Wherever you go, (bathroom, office, or sleep)
she's there! She has remembered her potty training skills. She is crate
trained when I leave for work. She is good around other dogs and cats.
However, she does try to eat my rabbits!
