Hi, my name is Tommy and I am a really sweet boy! I am about a year old and only weigh around 35#, so I am a really nice size. I have graduated from the Cell Dog Training Program so I know the basics on commands. I am really good to walk o a leash and I can also "sit" awesome!! My foster Mom says that my best command, though is come. It doesn't matter where I am, if anyone calls my name-----I come running!!! She thinks that is because I am really well trained, but I know it is really because I just love attention and affection from people so much!! I am a medium energy kind of guy, with most of my energy being in the morning. I am so happy that a new day has started, sometimes it is just too hard to keep all that excitement in! The rest of the day I am happy to play some and just hang out, preferably with, next to, or on somebody else!! Obviously, I am a big cuddler!!

My foster Mom says I am a really smart guy---and I have to agree with her! I am wonderfully housetrained and I adjust really well to any situations, learning new routines quickly since I am such an observant guy!! I love other dogs, but I am still pretty playful, so if they don't like to play at all, they may not like me. Somebody did me wrong at some point, but I don't hold that against anyone else, I still love everyone I meet, especially if they love me back. I love to exercise, but I am not a runner, so I won't dart out an open door or take off on you---I love being with you too much to do that! UPDATE: Tommy has graduated from the cell dog program.

UPDATE: Tommy has joined the Cell Dog Program. During this program he will be trained by selected inmates who will be overseen by a professional dog trainer. He will attend classes to learn more about house training, basic obedience and some fun tricks too! Tommy can be visited and even adopted while he is in the Cell Dog program.
