Hi! My name is Margaret, I am a very pretty girl, who is a little over a  year old and apx 70 pounds. I am somewhat trained.   I am a good listener and love to be a part of what my people are up to, whether it is playing fetch outside or following you around the house.  I also like to take frequent naps throughout the day and snore a little. If you'll allow me, I also like to cuddle with you in your favorite sitting place. Sometimes I forget my size and think I'm a lap dog.   I'm a typical Labrador Retriever, I enjoy retrieving shoes, balls, sticks and random things both indoors and outdoors. I am mostly mature but sometimes my inner puppy can emerge if nobody is watching.  Before I came to my foster home, I was used to staying in a large kennel and was always around a group of dogs. At my foster home however, there is only one other dog. She is a lab friend that looks just like me and she taught me not to be scared of a regular crate, but I don't like to be left alone. Six hours would be tops for me in a cage. I will come with a Dane cage, if you don't have another dog to keep me company.  My lab friend has to be in sight or I get anxious and try to find a way out, which has left my nose a little scabbed.  At night I do like to sleep with my person and will be good all night..  I live mostly indoors but when I do go outside I'm either on a leash or a long lead.  I have done some yard training where I used to live.  My foster mom says I am the sweetest  and that my forever home is going to be so lucky to have me to grow old with!
