About Niki - Very special kitten!
Meet Niki! This special girl had a tough start to life. When Niki was several weeks old, she was found on the side of the road suffering from head trauma, a punctured pallet, and a broken jaw. She was rushed to the vet where she received lifesaving care and began her road to recovery. While her vet feared she may have lasting hearing or vision damage, her injuries healed beautifully and she's grown into one of the friendliest and most affectionate kittens we have ever fostered. She does have slower reflexes than a normal kitten and needs a bit of help with grooming but is otherwise completely normal. Niki is very chatty and is constantly purring. She has a very distinct meow and always announces her presence when she enters a room or jumps in your lap to cuddle. Niki is happiest when snuggled up with her feline foster siblings or her humans. She likes to sleep between her foster parents at night. When Niki first arrived at her foster home, she wasn't sure how to play with toys or with other cats. She learned quickly and is now always on the move. Niki is spunky and active. She loves to wrestle with her foster siblings and chase toys around the house. Niki absolutely loves other cats and we think she would do best with another cat in her new home. She has not been exposed to dogs or children. Due to her slow reflexes, we feel she would be safest in a home without dogs or with older, calm dogs who are used to being around cats. Niki is about 7 months old now.
Niki's adoption fee is $100 and covers the cost of her vetting, which includes:
-Test for FeLV/FIV (negative)
-Feline Leukemia vaccine
-Topical flea protection
