Hi! My name is Brussel Sprout! I’m a 6 or 7 year old 65 lb shepherd mix boy looking for my furever family to love and lay around with me. I was found as a stray and my owner could not be found. My hobbies include eating, getting treats, napping, and running around the yard sniffing everything I can. I even do tricks like sit, shake, and spinning in circles! My foster mom says I’m very well mannered- I don’t bark much, don’t jump, and listen when I’m told to do something and will do anything for a kong filled with peanut butter. I’m a super happy guy and LOVE humans. Sometimes I’m hesitant and will hide from men, but once you show me you’re trustworthy, we will be the best of friends. Although I love people, I’m not the best around dogs and cats so I’m looking for a single pet home. Other animals get me too worked up and I don’t know how to respond around them, I also have a bit of a prey drive. I require a fenced in yard to walk around and to sniff as much as I can, it doesn’t have to be a huge yard- I’m easy to please. All I want is for someone to tell me I’m a good boy and let me lay at their feet while we relax together. I don’t require to be taken on walks (sometimes I get too excited on a leash, but I’ve been working on it), and I even come with a free bath and nail trim from my foster mom once a month! Who can turn that down? Being an older man, I would be great for any age of owner. My temperament is terrific and I promise to take care of you as long as you love me. I can’t wait to meet you!
