Please read my bio a few times, before you put an ap in for me. I  have been back and forth on the website, because they are trying to find me the right home. I am not your regular labradoodle, because I have a streak of Akita in me. I need an active owner to work with me.  I am a smart boy and eager to learn. After spending time in the big house for  2 months, I am on parole for being a good fella.I am a friendly , affectionate labradoodle/akita of 65 pounds and 2 years old. I am high energy and can use another playful dog in the home, to work my energy off .However, if it is a male dog, he needs to be easy going. I have a tendency to go right up to a dog's face.If they get bitey, I will defend myself. I do better with female dogs. I respect them. If you are active, I can live without another dog. I need leadership and exercise. I have separation anxiety and need a secure fenced yard, with a  dog door.When I am left alone I need that freedom or I will chew. I cannot stay in a crate- I will bend the bars. I will be in need of a spa/groom day every 2 months, at apx $60. This is critical for keeping my skin healthy. Good news is, I will easily take a shower with you, when asked. Please don't consider adopting me, if frequent spa days will not fit into your budget. Doodles are considered less shedding and somewhat hypoallergenic. However, if you have allergies or want a non shedding dog, you will want to look into the pure breeds, not crosses. Besides lab, I also have Akita in me. I must say, I am having a great time here on the dog farm. I love to run in the water of the pond and I play with one of the girls. Since my owner did not come to claim me, being left alone 4 hours is about all I will like. I am well house trained. I do need obedience training, to learn you are the head dog. I am ok with children, but not in the home. I will unintentionally knock small children over. Only teenagers will be considered to live with ,because I am a child myself. NO to cats, they intrigue me in a bad way. I am well worth the effort and will be your best friend/companion. I have wanted to learn from someone for some time, on how to be a great dog.
