Hello world, my name is Lita. I am a diva, what can I say. I make a terrible first impression. Can you believe I spent 9 long months behind bars at the dog pound.Even at that, I am a happy girl. They knew I had potential and didn't give up on me. It was rough for me at times, but I was recently taken into the rescue. I am a heinz 57 of apx 2 years old and 50 pounds of love. I need a home without another dog. I love people and do not want to share. I like some dogs, but not others and I will fight with them. It would be best to not be in a tight neighborhood, where I would bark at neighbors dogs. I am very loving of my people and would be happy to not go to dog parks or walks, as long as I have you. I know how to sit and walk well on leash. I have 5 fenced acres here and you would think I would run forever on the property. However, I like to stay close to the house and lay outside. I will need a fence for that reason. Especially after being cooped up for almost a year. I love to play with toys and am treat motivated and love to learn.I love water too and jump in the pond here. I am house trained and not destructive when left alone. Once I greet you energetically, I relax. I need my own home, so I can make up for all the love I have missed. I met with the trainer and I might get better at reacting to dogs, with some work. I will need someone to teach me how to act.I will be well worth the work. Loving is my middle name. I did not get enough socializing, since I was in the jailhouse for 9 months. I am a smart girl, so it won't take me much to learn.I don't like cats, but do like children. If I give my love to you, will you love me back forever?
