Rocky belonged to one of our volunteer's 88 year old mother in law. She recently moved out of state and couldn't take him with her. Our volunteer already has 5 cats and fosters for us so they aren't able to keep him.  Rocky was primarily an outdoor cat since the landlord didn't want him in the rental. Since he has been at our volunteer's home the past month he has not wanted outside.

   He is a good boy who uses the litter box, doesn't scratch on anything he shouldn't, gets along with the other cats/kittens and the puppy who is his size. He was an only pet and hadn't been around other animals until he got to our volunteers home. We don't think he would do well with large dogs or multiple dogs. He will need time to get used to other animals and his new home. 

   He isn't very vocal and is used to being in a large crate at night. He likes to crawl up on our volunteers lap and sit with his paws on her chest, snuggling under her chin, he is definitely a lady's cat, but will cuddle up with men. He is an easy going boy who loves attention and is playful at times. He would be great for a senior or a family, in a house or apartment.
