About Quinton

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Adoption Fee: $225
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Merle
  • Current Age: 7 Years 11 Months (born on 5/7/2016)

We have been inundated with applications for this litter of puppies, and are beginning to work through them.  It's likely that we will have adopters from the group of submissions we have already received.  You may still submit an application at this time, since the puppies are technically still available.  However, do so with the understanding that at this time, your form would likely be processed only in the event that puppies will not be placed with homes whose forms are currently under consideration.  Thank you!

Judging by some of the puppies' coloring and coat length, we are guessing that Libby's babies are probably Australian Shepherd mixes.  This is only a GUESS.  We are also guessing that they will be medium to medium-large sized dogs when full grown.  Please understand that Aussies are a herding breed and can be heel nippers by nature.  They also may require more mental as well as physical stimulation to keep them from getting bored - and that boredom can lead to behavior issues.

Quinton is one of Libby's handsome merle-colored babies.  He's a delightful little pups and is just as cute as his pictures show, though his eyes really aren't that blue.  (Puppies usually have bluish eyes when they are this young and the camera picks up on it and seems to enhance it.)

Puppies from this litter are expected to be old enough to leave on or about Monday, June 20, as long as our vet and the puppies' foster mom feels they are ready when the time comes.

Please remember that puppies this young will need you now more than ever because this is the age when they begin to understand structure and routine.  Besides the fact that their bodies are not developed enough to “hold it” when they are this young, leaving them crated or unattended for hours on end will not offer them the love, attention, socialization, exercise, or training that they will need to become the adult dogs you want them to be for their lifetime - and your lifetime too.

If you feel you are ready and able to make the commitment to taking on the responsibility of a young puppy, you can easily fill out an adoption application by clicking here: adoption application.  For anyone viewing this on Petfinder, if you are interested in adopting this animal you will need to go to our website www.rosesrescue.net to fill out the online adoption application. You can usually find more pictures of the animals there too. Click on our name "Roses Rescue" in blue above to be taken directly to our website.

Quinton's parent, Libby (adopted) can also be seen on our website.
