Burt and Ernie are not Rose's Rescue dogs, but we support trying to find a fur-ever home for them. They are being fostered through in another state with Furry Friends Network and you can apply for them at: www.furryfriendsnetwork.com. All inquiries need to go to Furry Friends Network as they will be handling the dogs' adoptions. However, their foster parent travels frequently to this area and can set up a meet and greet for these dogs in the Northeast Ohio area with an approved adopter.

Pupdate 10/14/2012. Burt and Ernie are quite a pair. They are house trained and crate trained and prefer to stay in the same crate. They do well on a leash and will both let you know when they're done exercising with a look like -"hey you have much longer legs than us and you walk too fast!". Both boys are neutered, up to date on vaccines, had a dental cleaning done and are microchipped. These little guys LOVE to sleep on you or next to you at all times, combined with sleeping on each other. They like to burrow in the pillows on the couch, under the bed covers and wherever they can nook their head against you. Burt and Ernie are the best guard/notification dogs, letting you know when there's a noise from a human or an animal. They will make an instant fur-family for you and are just waiting to meet you. Please consider putting in an application on line at  www.furryfriendsnetwork.com  and meeting these boys. Although we prefer they be adopted together, for the right family, we will consider adopting them out separately. Their wiggle bodies are just waiting for the right family to give them a fur-ever home, full of love and attention. See you soon!

Pupdate 9/26/12 - Burt and Ernie have been fully vetted now. They were recently neutered and have all their primary shots, heartworm tested negative, microchipped and on all preventatives. They've received their beauty treatment - nails done, fur coat shinning and their skin is vibrant! Guess what - I think they are in fact house trained! No accidents since the first day we broke them out of dog-jail! They are vocal when we meet other humans and dogs on our walks. We're working on that. They are magnificent dogs! They are VERY bonded and ideally they will be adopted together. The vet believes strongly they are siblings. Please consider applying for them on line and once approved, you can meet them and see if they are the right fur-children for your human family!

Posted 9/22/2012. We're Burt and Ernie and we were wondering in Hoke County, North Carolina and got put in the slammer. Furry Friends Network found us and posted bail. The nice people at the shelter said we were strays and when our family didn't come and collect us, we were put up for adoption and our Shelter was VERY full(we heard them talking about that and were a little afraid). We are so delighted to be in a human home. I'm Burt and a little bit larger than Ernie, and I'm approximately two years old. We are working on our house training, crate training, leash training and playing with toys. We LOVE our humans and cannot give enough kisses or receive enough love back.We love curling up right next to our humans and find a place to "burrow" our head. We love sneaking under the bed covers and hanging out right next to our human's legs. Its quite comfy. We like to let our human know when we see another human on our walks. We're working on being less noisy when we see other humans and dogs. We like them, we just want them to know we're there. Please check out our site for updates and if you think we might be the right dogs for you, please apply for us on-line and we'll see if we're the right match for you and your family. See you soon!
