Donate Your Auction-ables!  

Rose's Rescue is now partnering with an online auction organizer to sell your no longer wanted items on eBay!  The listing ladies do all the work, and after keeping a small portion of the proceeds for their efforts, give the rest to our cause.  They will evaluate the items, list them online and handle the payment, and even take care of the shipping.  All you do is contact them and they will take care the rest.  Of course, not everything has value in the eyes of others but there are some items that always seem to be in demand.  Here is a list of things that are usually very sell-able on eBay and other online auctions:

• Fine china, tableware – Minton, Tiffany, Rosenthal, Staffordshire, Thomas, Wedgwood, Villeroy & Boch and more
• Fine crystal stemware – signed preferred
•  Sterling silver tableware
• Silver plate tableware
• Porcelain and Pottery – Belleek, Delft, Gant, Herend, Hummel figurines, Lladro, Bavaria,McCoy, Hall, Hull, Russell Wright, Roseville, Currier & Ives, Scandinavian Ceramics
• Vintage Toys, Dolls & Games – Matchbox, Hot Wheels, Star Wars, Star Trek, G.I. Joe,Barbie (1960’s), Board games, toy piano, Disney, Chatty Cathy, Effanbee, Vogue, Ideal, Mattel, puzzles (Sifo)
•  Magazines– Early Modern Screen, Photoplay, Hollywood Stars, Playboy
•  Primitive Hand Tools
• Autographed sports memorabilia (certificate of authenticity is helpful)
•  Lamps from the 1960’s and earlier – even just a fiberglass lampshade
• Vintage mantel clocks – Waterbury,Seth Thomas, Howard Miller
• Brochure sand pamphlets for cruises (1970’s and earlier)
• First Edition or Autographed books
• Original works of art by known artists
•  New or gently used designer handbags – Coach, Dooney & Bourke, Louis Vuitton, Bally, Kate Spade, Gucci, etc.  Most importantly, these must be AUTHENTIC!
• Vintage jewelry consisting of precious and semi-precious gems and metals, signed preferred
• Cellphones, pda’s (Treo, Nextel, Blackberry, etc.)
• Equestrian equipment such as saddles, bridles, clothing
• Cars, boats, horse trailers, RVs, helmets
• Antique or vintage fishing lures, reels, rods and hooks
• Early kitchen gadgets
• Antique or vintage fountain pens and nibs, desk sets
• Mid-century modern furniture
• Some antique furniture
• Fine cookware – All Clad, Le Creuset, Emile Henry, Dansk, etc.
• Inventory from your business that you wish to unload
